Fav Foto Friday - Hope

The theme this week is hope. We snapped this pic on the last morning with la princesa on our 2nd visit trip in February 2008. She was 3 months old. What a beautiful angel! This photo gave me hope that she would come home in God's perfect timing. I stared many an hour at this sweet face, often while day dreaming of the day we could bring her home forever. That visit trip seems so long ago, but also just like it was yesterday. I am amazed at how much she has grown and changed since then, and I'm once again reminded what a blessing she is to me. As I sit here typing this with one hand as she sleeps in my arms, I couldn't possibly ask for more!

La princesa has her 9 month well baby appointment this morning (a month late, but the best we could get!), but it will likely involve another catheter--I suspect another UTI. Ugh! My poor baby just can't catch a break. She's having exactly the same symptoms as last time, minus the fever. The kidney ultrasound is scheduled for the 26th, so hopefully it will shed some light on the situation. Please pray that she feels better soon. I'll update later on her 10 month stats--how exciting!
