Our Adoption Timeline

May 2005 - amazing little boy born (10 weeks early!)
December 2006 - decided to adopt
January 2007 - began the adoption process
February thru August 2007 - a bunch of stuff, adoption plans on hold
September 2007 - back on track! We're adopting from Guatemala
11/13/07 - rec'd amended I-171H
11/20/07 - dossier to Guatemala & referral of a beautiful baby girl
12/1/07 to 12/4/07 - first visit to Guatemala to sign POA and meet our baby girl
12/19/07 - DNA results to USE 99.99% match!
1/25/08 - found out we're out of FC
2/16/08 to 2/20/08 - 2nd visit trip!!
2/21/08 - Pre-approval from USE
2/27/08 - in PGN!!
4/21/08 - out of PGN
4/25/08? Birth Certificate issued
4/25/08? la princesa's passport issued
4/29/08 2nd DNA authorization (ORANGE)
5/13/08 2nd DNA to USE
5/20/08 PINK (notification of embassy appointment)
5/25/08 Gotcha day! We're a forever family
5/29/08 Home forever
